Important Information

1. Please mail your notarized applications and make checks payable to Delores Smith, 13400 73rd Ave. N. Seminole, FL 33776. Preferred Option: Drop in Locked Drop box on front of the house.

2. For private lessons scheduled with Danyielle, please email your requested dates/times of lessons. Once scheduled, mail your notarized applications and make checks payable to: Danyielle Gomez-Nieto, 7265 129th Street, Seminole, FL 33776.

3. It is recommended that non-swimmers take the 6 day session prior to a mini-session. Exception: Session A. Exceptions may also be made if signing up for additional regular sessions together.

4. If you wish to know if a class is available, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me, but I cannot save a space for you. All classes are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis from the date I receive your payment and notarized application. After your confirmation, there will be a fee of $40.00 for changing classes. Please check your vacation schedules so there are no conflicts. If you have a group that would like to come together, please reserve your session A.S.A.P.

5. If you are signing up for 2 sessions, please send separate checks for each class to reserve their space. If you are signing up for two or more children, please send information on separate notarized applications. CHECKS ARE NOT CASHED UNTIL THE END OF EACH SESSION. INSUFFICIENT FUNDS: If your check is returned for insufficient funds, there will be a $40.00 fee in addition to any bank fees that are charged. You must pay cash instead of writing a new check to cover the insufficient funds check and fees.

6. PLEASE NOTE: FOR 2 OR MORE REGULAR SESSIONS OR 2 OR MORE CHILDREN, DISCOUNT FEE IS 10% OF THE TOTAL FEES during initial registration. If an additional class is added later, only 10% of the second session applies.

7. Due to the limited number of students in a class, there are no provisions for missing a class. I will try to work with you if possible. It is especially difficult to accommodate make up lessons for classes scheduled later in the summer.

8. Any classes that are canceled because of inclement weather will be made up by longer classes on subsequent days, or on a designated time and day.

9. Inclement weather at your home does not necessarily mean the same at our pool. Call 15 – 20 minutes before the scheduled lesson time if you are uncertain. If no answer, we are swimming.

10. Please do not park on the road. You must park on my property. PLEASE BE PROMPT TO ALLEVIATE TRAFFIC/PARKING PROBLEMS.

11. No cancellations will be allowed due to the limited spots available. If you have another child take your child’s spot, they will also need a notarized form prior to the start of the class. You will only be charged a $40.00 insurance and reservation cancellation fee. Fees will be waived if cancellation is due to health concerns.

12.During non-parental participation classes, parents are asked NOT to be visible. This will allow your child to cooperate and progress better. We have a screened-in area away from the pool for your convenience. Parents will be invited poolside to see their child’s progress.

13. On the last day of class (Show Day), all students will perform their acquired skills. Parents ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to participate with them immediately following their demonstrations. They need to learn that they can perform for you as well as for the instructors.

14. SAFETY DAY (6 class sessions only) – Class times will be changed and increased to 1 hour to have adequate time for land and water safety skills. If registered for a 4 or 5 class session, safety skills will be incorporated into the daily lessons.

15. For best results: Please practice with your child whenever possible!
